Spring into the season as Gunby Hall, Estate and Gardens gets set to launch the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival on 17 May.
📅 On Saturday 17 May, Gunby Estate will be offering free entry to its blossoming gardens as it officially launches the festival. Visitors can take part in free guided walks throughout the day – no booking needed, just turn up and explore!
🚶‍♀️✨ From archaeology to wildlife and gentle strolls, there’s something for everyone. Visitors can also relax in the gardens, browse the second-hand bookshop, and treat themselves in the tea-room.

🌿 Walk Schedule – Saturday 17 May:
• 🏰 Archaeology walk to Bratoft Manor (4 miles)
• 10am–12pm and 1apm–3pm
• 🐦 Nature and conservation walk (4 miles)
• 10.15am–12.15pm
• 💧 Ice House Pond Walk (1 mile)
• 10.30–11.30am, 11.30am–12.30pm, 2–3pm
• 🦉 Wildlife and conservation walk (4 miles)
• 10.45am–12.45pm & 1.30–3.30pm
📅 Additional walks in May:
• Tuesday 20 May: Social walk to Bratoft Manor (4 miles) – 10.30am–12.30pm
• Saturday 24 May: Nature walk to Bratoft Manor (4 miles) – 10.30am–12.30pm
• Tuesday 27 May: Estate conservation walk (4 miles) – 10am–12pm
👟 Gunby's regular social walks offer a chance to meet and connect with other visitors in the great outdoors. These take place on Fridays 9 May, 23 May and 30 May from 10.30am – noon.

One of the exciting new attractions at the 2025 show is horseman Guillaume Gotts, who will present 'Inspire Equine Production.' This performance features amazing acrobatic riding and highlights the incredible bond between horses and their riders.

Another highlight this year is Fens Falconry, which will showcase a breathtaking flying display of both native and exotic birds of prey in the main arena. Alongside the thrilling show, there will be informative talks to help visitors learn more about these magnificent birds. Guests can also get a closer look at the birds in a static display located elsewhere on the showgrounds.

For those looking to relax and enjoy some music, the music trailer will feature popular local performers, including 3rd and Church, Nicky Haxby, Purple Steve, Woodhall’s own Sing it Loud, and The Soul Collective.
