Well, not keeping the facebook up, that's for sure. Actually I have been doing a lot of group tours booked over the internet but not so much interest this summer in the scheduled Monday and Tuesday Tours. The weather has not been kind and there's a bit more competition about - good for St Andrews, though. Hope to get some customers today and looking forward to a group of golfers on Wednesday.

Taking my camera today to try to keep this facebook more up to date. Sunny today - ideal for photos. Christmas buzz is starting to build in the town. "Plate glass tax" rolling off the tongue.

Just getting ready for today's walk. I've been researching shops in St Andrews, which I hope will be interesting in the second walk. especially when the lights are up and it's getting darker outside. Practicing the phrase, "plate glass tax." That's the kind of professional I am.

Yesterday was Raisin Monday - well known to locals, less understandable to visitors. New students bring a bag of raisins for their "academic parents" (who are senior students). They get receipts written on some object, often an odd one. Then there is a shaving foam fight in St Salvator's Quad.
