Housekeeping Assistant

Pay: E 13.75 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a diligent and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our dynamic team at
St.Andrews Forest Lodges. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and
comfort of our 4 star self catering lodges with hot tubs. Your attention to detail and commitment to
maintaining high standards will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests. Working hours will
range from 16-24 over three days (Monday, Friday and Saturday). It is essential that you have your own
car to commute to and from the park as we are not situated near a reliable bus route.
Responsibilities
0 Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure all lodges are maintained to the highest standard of
cleanliness
Change bed linen, replace towels and restock amenities
Hoover, mop and dust
Clean and sanitise kitchen and bathroom areas
Uphold health and safety standards at all times
Inspect rooms for any damage or maintenance issues
Collaborate with team member and communicate effectively
The Saturday shift will consist of checking hot tub chemical levels and the laundering and
pressing of bed linen
Requirements
Previous experiencein housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not essential as training
will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent time managementand organisational skills
e Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and work to meet tight deadlines
e Flexibility to work weekends and extra shifts to cover holidays as needed

We are currently seeking a diligent and dedicated deputy supervisor housekeeper to join our dynamic team at St Andrews Forest Lodges. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our 4 Star Self catering lodges with hot tubs. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure all lodges are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Change bed linen, replace towels, and restock amenities.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchen areas.
Inspect rooms for any damages or maintenance issues.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
General administration tasks
Perform management duties in the absense of the park manager.

Requirements:
Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.

update on wifi issues - sorry

Hi St Andrews Forest Lodges ,

It looks like the earliest the pole will be repaired over at Kincaple will be 23rd Feb, although it may be after that. They require traffic management in place to do it for which a permit is required.

I will let you know if I hear anything else.

My escalation request has been declined on the grounds below.

It looks like we are entirely in the hands of Openreach and the traffic management authorisation. Openreach have declared the incident as MBORC (Matters Beyond Our Reasonable Control) and I will keep a close eye on the notes and update you of any changes as they happen

Dear Guests and Up and coming guests - update 17.2.2026

Due to a road accident last Friday 13th Feb 2026 A communications pole has been knocked down and the wires for the Internet have snapped.

We have been advised it will take approximately a week or two to fix as this is how long it took the last time but could be longer as we depend on BT Open Reach to fix and reinstall all our internet

Sadly we have to advise our guests currently on the park (13th - 23rd ) and going forward those due to visit in the next week arriving 20th - 27th Feb 2026 that sadly this is the case and an issue that is out with your control to fix at the Park.

If we hear of any updates from the Internet provider then we will let you all know but it isn’t them that handles the repair. BT Open Reach are responsible for the fix.
