Harvest 2026 is underway, kicking off with winter barley. 🌾 ☀️ 🚜

The barley is used as feed for our cattle, while the straw provides bedding throughout the winter months. 🐮

It’s been a very busy week here at Riggshill Barns Holiday Lets! 🚜🌾
Silage season is in full swing, and we’re making the most of the good weather to get plenty of feed safely tucked away for our cattle to enjoy throughout the year. 🐄
It’s long days, plenty of hard work and a lot of teamwork, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is real life on a working farm, and it’s all part of what makes staying at Riggshill Barns so special. Our guests get to experience the sights and sounds of the countryside as the seasons change—and this time of year is one of our favourites. 💚
