Stamford Visitor Centre would like to say CONGRATULATIONS TO The Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre Celebrating this weekend 25 years of the Corn Exchange Theatre Company (25 years of full time theatre) and 100 years of Corn exchange company in the re-built. Building after the fire of 1925.
Tickets still available to their Celebration concerts 7pm Saturday 9th and 2pm on Sunday 10th. May 2026
We are proud to call the Corn Exchange the Home of the Visitor Centre and Wish the all the best for the next 25/100 years.

A local favourite, this is a must-visit FREE event for foodies, families and friends. Celebrate the finest independent businesses and local artisans, with delicious flavours and street food from around the world on offer, alongside homemade bakes, sweet treats and crafted drinks.

Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May, 10am–4pm each day. FREE admission and car parking.

Stamford Visitor Centre were proud to be represented at theStamford Town AGM. Thanks to Nicola for being there and the Town Hall for including the Visitor Centre in its display. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of the Star of Stamford Awards presented on the evening, and to all the groups for their work.
So many worthy causes and voluntary groups in Stamford from George’s Food Hub, Mindspace, Bumps and beyond. The Library, Art Popup, Rutland and Stamford Sound, The Stamford Civic Society to the Council Heritage Committee, Museum committee and many more The Visitor Centre is proud of all its Volunteers that make it possible and love working alongside all these other groups. Creating a proud and strong Stamford. .

Successful meet and greet evening - did you hear Jill on Rutland and Stamford Sound! THANK YOU to all the shops and business that supported the evening, to hear all our plans for helping visitors in 2026. Thank you to all the visitor centre volunteers that helped. And especially the Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre our Visitor Location and the Mayor Councillor Amanda Wheeler and the Town Hall for the use of the Courtroom last night and all everyone for their support. We look forward to helping/ sharing Stamford during 2026 to Visitors and Locals alike. (Pictured Jill with Rob at Rutland and Stamford Sound and some of the evening event)
