The Tour du Mont Blanc season has kicked off with perfect weather and conditions!

Early season hikers are more likely to spot wildlife, such as this Ibex we came across on the stage in the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve above Chamonix. Later in the season they can become a bit more shy and hide from the crowds.

Take a 'virtual' walk across the nearly 500 meter long Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge. It's the longest suspension bridge in the Alps and you can walk the real thing on the Walker's Haute Route or on the Tour of Monte Rosa.
