🎉 Today marks the 150th anniversary of Hawkshead Agricultural Show! 🎉

Held in the village of Hawkshead, it's a great day out with animal displays, kids activities, food & drink and plenty more.

Once you've enjoyed the show, make sure to head into the village - it's home to shops like Grasmere Gingerbread, Hawkshead Relish Company and Chocolate Factory Hawkshead; as well as some great pubs like Red Lion Hawkshead and Queens Head Hawkshead.

☀ In Buttermere, the 77C bus runs from Cockermouth to Buttermere on weekends and bank holidays.
☀ New for 2025: the 517 minibus service runs between Ambleside and Little Langdale on weekends, for walks like Cathedral Cave.
