We Don't Just Take People Paddling. We Help Build A Community Around It 👫

When you book with us, you are actually helping put more back into the local paddling community which benefits hundreds of paddlers each year.
Here's how?

💵We invest in better equipment for our novice learners
🌀We run more SUP safety courses to improve education and invest in materials to support
😉We help those new to paddling with kit to use. FREE.
📞We offer a What's App community channel to tailor advice and keep paddlers connected, informed and included
💪 We invest in our volunteers through courses, kit and training
🤗 We sponsor young people into qualifications

Our commercial activity HAS a meaningful social purpose.

We demonstrate this by:

For the last 7 years we have been running a local SUP Club called 🩵AyrshireArmada based in SW Scotland. We volunteer our time, equipment and expertise FOR FREE.

🔊Our community never pay to socialise with others on the water. And never will!

🩵We facilitate weekly socials FREE to those who join regardless of ability
🩵We run group paddles and trips
🩵We run coaching clinics and masterclasses to upskill paddlers
🩵We host monthly AquaPaddle UK events to ensure paddlers come together to enjoy a fun time on the water - for FREE
❤️We support RNLI Troon Lifeboat incentives to improve paddler education and safety

Building a paddling community is more important than selling sessions. When we do sell. We invest.

We believe adventures should be accessible, social and shared.

We all know Profits keep a business flowing...but PURPOSE gives it a current to follow and a true direction.

Adventure Paddle Co exists to get people of all ages and abilities on the water — but we believe what happens off the booking page matters just as much. And we walk our talk.

Because for us, paddleboarding isn't just a product. You are not a consumer to us.
It’s about feeling part of a community.
It’s about deepening connection.
It’s about awaking a sense of adventure and building life long memories.

🩵Hi, if anyone's passing Braehead Shopping centre over the weekend pop over to our stand as we promote AquaPaddle UK events in Scotland.
There's tons of activities to try on the day.

SUP SAFER COURSES - NEW VENUE - LOCH LOMOND
We are delighted to support the local initiatives promoting water safety around Loch Lomond National Park by offering certified Paddleboard safety courses throughout August and September.
Who is it for?
Aimed at both novices and experienced paddlers.
All equipment hire included.

OUR EXPERIENCE & IMPACT
To date, over the past three years we have delivered the most SUP SAFER courses within the UK resulting in 90% reduction in emergency services call outs in the Ayrshire region.

🤗Courses are 4hrs duration. Certified by Paddle UK.
Max 8 paddlers per course

Course Content includes:
Group discussions, practical advice and activities around:
🔊Planning safe paddle trips
👏Equipment set up and considerations
🌬️Environment, weather interpretation and tides, access
🙋Rescue techniques inducing self rescue and assisting others

6th June | 0900am-1300pm | Bookers Pond Irvine

Following a spate of incidents both on our coasts and inland Lochs we encourage our page followers to attend a certified SUP SAFER course.
It's practically based and covers the essentials every paddler needs to know including:
💻Planning a day out
🌬️weather & tides
🏞️Environments for sup
🙋Setting up equipment including leashes

During the course we offer tuition on personal paddling skills and rescues such as how to get back on your board and assisting others.

Cost -£30.00pp
8 spaces per course

Huge congratulations 🎉👏 to our 6 candidates who passed their BCAB Level 1 SUP Instructor award yesterday.
Amazing effort by all.
As a deployment award, the two-day course has equipped them with knowledge, skills and strategies to be 'Primed & Ready' to support the delivery of taster sessions in a very sheltered water environment.

Once again our bespoke PADDLER to PRO pre training course was of real value to each individual and supported their journey to accreditation.

Fantastic first day of our BCAB Level 1 SUP Instructor course in Ayrshire. After a morning of group discussions around key topics and practice cal activities on how we organise groups to the water, the afternoon focused on what we can teach clients to 'Go Paddling' and facilitate learning through a games based approach.
Perfect conditions for learning and of course having fun...
