We’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Administrator to support our busy Payments Team. If you enjoy working with numbers, love a well-organised spreadsheet, and thrive in a supportive office environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll play a key part in keeping our supplier payments running smoothly while also helping manage incoming queries from members across the UK. No two days are the same — and your contribution will make a real difference.

What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Recording supplier payments using our in-house systems
✔ Liaising with suppliers and responding to member enquiries
✔ Managing calls, emails, and support tickets
✔ Working extensively with Excel to maintain accurate records
✔ Checking bank balances to ensure payments can be released
✔ Providing general office administrative support

What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who are:
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident using Excel and other IT systems
• Able to prioritise and manage their workload effectively
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders

About the Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, your main responsibility will be ensuring the accurate reconciliation of incoming payments so that we can pay out to our business partners efficiently and on time. You'll be part of a busy and supportive team where strong communication skills and attention to detail are key.

Key Duties:
· Enabling the payment of holidays to our Key business partners in a timely fashion.
· Taking and responding to phone calls in a professional manner
· Handling email correspondence efficiently and accurately
· Communicating with agents through our Jira ticketing system
· Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For:
· Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role (preferred but not essential)
· Strong numerical and administrative skills
· Confident communicator via phone, email, and internal systems
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Comfortable working in an office-based environment

We currently have a great opportunity for a Compliance Assistant to join us on a full time, permanent basis at our offices in Burslem, Stoke on Trent. This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary of £26,000 per year.

As a Compliance Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support across all compliance and risk areas, assisting with account reconciliations, investigating bank transactions and assisting our banking team. You will coordinate weekly reconciliations, liaising with internal teams and external members to ensure timely resolutions while keeping internal teams informed of actions taken.

You will also help maintain our banking database, focusing on ensuring timely banking of customer money across various bank accounts. Your work will contribute to our ongoing strategy and ensure the timely release of funds to external suppliers.

If you have strong administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, we’d love to hear from you.

What skills and experience we are looking for:
• Administration experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook / Word / Teams)
• Experience of working within the banking/finance industry preferred, but not essential.
• A good verbal and written communicator
• An effective team player who can work collaboratively with our customers, build positive relationships, effective working arrangements and ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service which exceeds customer requirements in terms of quality.
• Demonstrable organisational skills and able to work through workflow processes accurately and in a timely manner.
