A sunshine tour of Blithfield is just what the doctor ordered this weekend! A gentle 50 miler from the front door will see you round this loop and back to the flat in time for a beer at Blythe Cricket Club round the corner, taking in a selection of beautiful villages along the way! Spot of the day was a big hare crossing a horse field just outside Stafford. One more job…light the BBQ!

Finally a dry day! The perfect chance for “himself” to give a me guided tour of some of the South Peaks climbing delights! A tough day in the saddle but worth it to be on top of the world. I wasn’t quite prepared for my brief experience of the Paris-Roubaix in Butterton, but the village’s peaceful beauty made up for it!

A fine Easter Bank Holiday Weekend just begged for a cycle day, and we even took the chance to extend this 80km loop round Stafford & Blithfield Reservoir to hit the magic 100km day goal! I only regret not getting you more photos!
We will be building up a cycle route section on our website over the course of the summer…why not book your stay, pack your bike, and explore them too!
