🚢 **Thinking about trying a cruise for the first time?**

If you’ve never cruised before, it can feel like there’s a lot to think about — but honestly, cruising can be one of the easiest and most relaxing ways to travel once you know what to expect.

Here are a few of my **first-time cruiser hints & tips**:

🛂 **Check your documents early**
Make sure your passport, visas and any required travel documents are all in order well before you travel.

🧳 **Pack smart**
Comfortable shoes are a must, along with swimwear, layers and something a little smarter for evenings. And remember to check your cruise line’s luggage allowance and dress code.

🍽️ **Have a look at the dining options**
There can be so much choice onboard! Some restaurants may need booking, particularly the speciality restaurants, so it’s worth checking before you sail.

💷 **Know what’s included**
Don’t assume everything is included in your cruise fare. Drinks, speciality dining, excursions, Wi-Fi and some activities can cost extra. I can help you understand exactly what you’re paying for.

🌍 **Plan your ports**
You don’t have to book an excursion at every stop. Sometimes exploring independently is perfect, while other destinations are better with an organised excursion.

💊 **Think about seasickness**
Even if you’ve never suffered before, it’s worth being prepared. If you’re worried, speak to your pharmacist or doctor before travelling.

📱 **Download the cruise line’s app**
This can be really useful for checking your itinerary, restaurant bookings, daily activities and important information once onboard.

⭐ **And my biggest tip… don’t try to do everything!**
There’s so much happening onboard that it’s easy to fill every minute. Give yourself time to sit back, enjoy the views and simply watch the world go by.

And remember, **choosing the right cruise is just as important as choosing the right holiday destination.** Different ships and cruise lines offer very different experiences.

**Nashville & Memphis – another amazing trip for my clients!**

I absolutely love hearing from clients when they get home and tell me all about their adventures, and this trip sounds like it was full of incredible memories.

They had a fantastic time exploring **Nashville and Memphis**, meeting some wonderful people along the way and experiencing so much of what makes these destinations special.

One of their highlights was visiting **Graceland**, where they got to walk in the footsteps of the King of Rock & Roll and learn more about Elvis and his life.

And in Nashville, **Luke Combs’ Bar – Category 10** was another big favourite. With daily line dancing lessons, live music throughout the day and those amazing rooftop views, it sounds like the perfect place to soak up the Nashville atmosphere.

They also learnt so much about the history of **Country Music**… and perhaps a little more than they needed to know about **moonshine!** 😂

It sounds like they came home with exactly what a holiday should be about – **amazing experiences, great memories and plenty of stories to tell.**
