Your Itinerary:
Day 1 - Sailing to Jersey
Begin your island adventure at Poole Ferry Terminal, where you'll check-in ahead of your sailing to St Helier. Once onboard, settle into your seat and enjoy the sea views as you journey across the English Channel. The crossing takes approximately four and a half hours, giving you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the onboard facilities, browse the duty-free shop, or treat yourself to food and drink from the cafe. (Premium seating is available as an upgrade through our call centre).
Arrive in St Helier and drive the short distance to The Biarritz Hotel overlooking St Brelade's Bay - one of Jersey's most beautiful beaches. After settling into your room, enjoy dinner at the hotel's restaurant - sea view included.
Day 2 - Discover St Brelade's Bay
After breakfast, step out to explore the stunning surroundings of St Brelade's Bay, just moments from the hotel. Spend a leisurely morning strolling along the beach or relaxing on the sand, or follow the coastal path for spectacular views across the bay. You might also want to visit St Brelade's Parish Church, a charming historic building overlooking the sea, or grab lunch at a local cafe.
In the afternoon, take advantage of the island's bus network or drive along the coast to explore St Aubin, a charming harbour town known for its waterfront restaurants and boutiques. Return to the hotel in the evening and perhaps end the day with a drink on the terrace as the sun sets over the bay.
Day 3 - Island Heritage and Historic Landmarks
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to uncover the fascinating history of Jersey. Take a drive to Mont Orgueil Castle, rising above the harbour of Gorey, and delve into centuries of history alongside breathtaking views across to France. Alternatively, experience Jersey's wartime past with a visit to Jersey War Tunnels, a powerful museum telling the story of the island's WW2 occupation.
If you prefer nature and wildlife, why not spend the day at Jersey Zoo? Founded by renowned conservationist Gerald Durell, it's home to endangered species from around the world. After a day packed with local highlights, head back to your hotel to relax and unwind.
Day 4 - Coastal Walks and Island Flavours
Start your day with a full English breakfast before exploring the island at your own pace. You might visit Plemont Bay, one of Jersey's most striking beaches, where rugged cliffs and caves frame golden sands and clear water.
In the afternoon, take a trip to St Helier, the island's lively capital. Browse local stores and markets, take advantage of VAT-free shopping, and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the many cafes and restaurants serving local food. In the evening, return to the hotel to enjoy a final night overlooking the bay.
Day 5 - Farewell to the Island
After a final breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a little more time soaking up the coastal atmosphere before beginning your return journey. Make your way to St Helier's harbour for your ferry crossing to Poole, reflecting on your time spent exploring Jersey's island charm.
