Sri Lanka day 2 🇱🇰

Today we took part in the most incredible cooking class at Uga Jungle Beach. We learnt how to make traditional Sri Lankan dishes including crab curry, pol sambol, lentil dahl, snake gourd sambal and ala thel dala, all washed down with a delicious arak cocktail.

Such an amazing experience and honestly some of the best food I’ve had so far (we had a lot of help 🤣). The flavours, spices and fresh ingredients were incredible.

Definitely an experience I would recommend to any of my clients visiting Sri Lanka.

First day in Sri Lanka and already completely obsessed 🇱🇰✨

We started the trip with one night at Uga Riva in the most gorgeous Premium Suite… such a beautiful property and the food was incredible.

Then it was time for something very special… a private plane from Colombo down to China Bay Airport before heading to Uga Jungle Beach 🌿✈️

Amazing views, amazing service and the perfect start to this trip.

I’m sure you have all seen the news today that Heathrow airport is closed due to a fire.

I have been in touch with all my clients that are affected and rebooked any flights that have been cancelled.

It is situations like this that reinforce the HUGE benefits of booking with a real human. Getting through to an airline today is near impossible but we have policies in place that allow us to manage bookings without having to call the airlines. If you booked direct you have to manage all this yourself.

We also have a 24 hour duty office who will be booking hotels for those stuck in resort. Booking a protected package is worth it EVERY time.
