Łączna długość linii Wybrzeża Jurajskiego, które rozciąga się od hrabstwa Devon do Dorset wynosi 153 km. Ten cud natury, który oparł się zgubnemu wpływowi człowieka znajduje się od 2001 roku na liście światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO. Najpopularniejszym miejscem w tej okolicy jest Lulworth Cove, przepiękna zatoka w kształcie podkowy, gdzie każdego roku przyjeżdża ponad milion turystów.
The total length of the Jurassic Coast, which stretches from Devon to Dorset are 153 km. This wonder of nature, who leaned against the evil influence of the man is since 2001 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The most popular place in the area is Lulworth Cove, a beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay, where each year more than one million tourists arrive.

Stourhead w zimowej szacie

I have mixed news about the Pantheon. As you may be aware, the Pantheon roof is in desperate need of repair and for the last few months we have had a section of the building roped off due to fallen masonary. Last week the Pantheon shed some more on the other side, so for the safety of everyone, we have had to close the entire building. The really good news is that the scaffolding will be going up early next year ready for the huge repair task to take place. This is a very excting conservation project for Stourhead and we will be thrilled when it has been returned to its former splendid glory. (photo is 2010, pre crumbling building!)

Every year, especially in autumn, this place is visited by huge numbers of tourists, painters and photographers. Everyone wants to see as much as possible and save in its memory, an image or on the photograph. Precisely at this time of year, vegetation in the gardens of Stourhead Gardens, in a robe amazing colors. In particular, you can admire beautiful view from the hill - located below lake surrounded by by trees trees and bushes in the most magnificent colors of autumn.
