There is a great choice on your doorstep - picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water just down hill (4 miles), The Slaughters, Upper and Lower Swell, often forgotten villages such as Kineton and Naunton both with local pubs. Stow-on-the-Wold is one of the antique centres of the Cotswolds with Burford, Chipping Norton and Cirencester all well worth a visit. The market square in Stow is large and impressive with the ancient buildings giving an insight of the town's historic past.
