Loch Ryan Boat Tours

With the "Skiffies" beginning on Sunday we can now announce that we will be offering "Spectator Trips" out to watch the rowers from a closer perspective. These will be based as closely around the race timetable as possible and obviously weather permitting but we do recommend something warm and dry for while out on the water.
While there is a toilet onboard its not very accessible just now so please make sure you go before coming afloat!!
The boat is also able to take wheelchairs onboard but we would have to limit these to trips around the high tide times of 10:00 13:00 through the week.

Please arrive at the marina gates up by the Harbour offices about 15mins prior to these times for a quick safety brief and to allow a relaxed safe boarding
Maximum of 10 guests on board each trip.
we may ask you to move to another trip if possible to make up numbers as we require 6 to make it viable for us.

£15 each paid in cash only at the start of the trips please

Something new and really exciting for me and the town of Stranraer is our new charter boat "Abyss" getting ready for her first full season running trips from the marina in Stranraer. This will be fully accessible trips with the boat having a side gate for easy entry onto the wide deck space for both walking and wheelchair users.
We will start offering both angling and sightseeing trips around the stunning Loch Ryan from the end of May 2025.

Trips available most evenings and weekends with our new skipper Pete or myself subject to a minimum of 5 persons.
Sightseeing trips around loch Ryan for up to 2 hours are £20 each and £15 for under 16s
mackerel trips for up to 3 hours including tackle are £35 each and £30 for under 16s.
