But in truth everywhere you walk in the town centre is picture perfect. There is a wide range of shops ranging from gift shops to department stores, antique and art stores, boutique shops to bookstores, it even houses the Christmas shop, open all year round. The town offers a great range of restaurants, trendy bars, gourmet dining and traditional English pubs. There is never a dull moment is Stratford Upon Avon, there is always something happening from celebrities visiting to star in the RSC plays, many festivals throughout the year, street shows, gatherings, fairs and markets. The place has a real cosmopolitan feel, but that quintessential quaint English charm to it still remains.
