With acres of space available, Stratford Racecourse is ideally suited to accommodate major national Rallies and Events. Stratford Racecourse Touring Park is close to the banks of the River Avon, about a mile from the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, home to the 'Man of the Millennium' - William Shakespeare. A

direct path along the greenway and the river Avon takes Approximately 20 minutes to the centre of town for access to shops, local attractions, restaurants and the marina. Centrally located in the Heart of England, Stratford Racecourse is the ideal location for holding your Rally or Caravan club meeting. With Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Coventry and Warwick to the North, Evesham and Tewkesbury to the West and the Cotswolds with its picturesque villages of Bourton-on-the-water, Moreton-in-the-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold to the South around every corner there is something new and exciting for you to discover and explore. We offer a large centre course area with several rally fields with each boasting well in excess of 200 plus pitches (Limited 12 EHU) plus the main park that can accommodate 80 pitches with EHU and in excess of a further 120 non-electric pitches. There is room hire available that offer communal gatherings or meetings, toilet block and snack bar facilities (if Required). water and Chemical waste points are available too. We offer the option of staying over a long weekend, midweek or longer periods if required. Quite simply the Perfect Setting, Stratford Racecourse is devoid of all the usual issues such as evening noise and cramped camping conditions, the racecourse has a relaxed friendly feel reminiscent of days gone by. It is also very secure with one main gate with wardens & security 24 hours a day. OUR FACILITIES

STRATFORD RACECOURSE TOURING PARK RECEPTIONIST & GROUNDSPERSON COUPLE
For 2017 season we require an energetic, reliable and customer friendly couple to join us from end of March through to October.

Working one day per week as cover for the Wardens.

Receptionist - You will act as first point of call for all our guests and arrivals, answering the telephone and making bookings using the booking system.

A good eye and attention to detail is important as you will be handling money and consolidating end of day paperwork.

Groundsman/Gardener - You will carry out grass cutting of the main touring park as well general ground maintenance work i.e. Litter picking, hedge trimming, strimming and weeding.

During busy periods you will be required to help the wardens i.e. rallies and events.

A free pitch with EHU & washing facilities plus free Race tickets in return.

Liked: Walking distance - 30 mins to all attractions as car was attached to tent.
Bike hire 10 mins - excellent bike path on old train track
Clean shower rooms
Friendly staff

Disliked: Noise from passing traffic to the race course
We didn't take any of our own catering as we were glamping for a few days - but would have liked some where to get a cup of tea - a vintage tea catering van was promised but was not there when we stayed - this was disappointing.
Wifi would have been handy !

We stayed in this camp site for 2 nights and loved it. Location was great, close to Stratford upon Avon but racecourse offers wide open spaces. Facilities were clean and functional. The only downside was the lack of a public bar but there was a social event in outdoor marquees we could have attended had we wanted to mingle with other campers. We were a party of 3 adults. Families with small children have lots of outdoor space to make their own entertainment.
Would thoroughly recommend.

had a lovely few days away campimg. the wardens were lovely and helpful. lots going on. even booked for a couple of weeks time. def recommend. shower rooms and toilets are always clean. can't wait to go back.

Liked: We arrived and the pitches were all level and well kept. We were a little way from the toilets and showers but that suited us fine as it was nice and quiet. The wardens were lovely and helpful. Nothing negative to say we shall be back!

Disliked: Would be nice to have a little playground for the kiddies..just a suggestion :)
