Yesterday, in amongst outdoor games and kite making our highlight was a visit from Kevin the animal man from Bug Team. The children had a great experience meeting ‘Nando’ the chicken, ‘Ted and Fred’ the cockroaches, ‘Minnie’ the mouse, ‘Stewart’ the rabbit. ‘Fluffy’ the snake and many many more.

We’ve been having fun with our health and fitness theme this week. Today was healthy food day. We made our own healthy picnic to have for morning snack and then went to play in the park.
We’ve also tried lots of different fruit for our fruit kebabs, made strawberry and banana smoothies and printed pictures with different fruit and vegetables

Tuesday’s Athletics tournament had to be adapted somewhat due to the torrential rain. We still managed to complete 9 events and finished the day with some Hama bead creations. We even had a Maths genius in who wanted to keep on top of his numeracy over the holidays! 😃
