If you like cars you will love this Italian 🇮🇹 car festival..

On Sunday 11 May, Gloucester Docks will host a dedicated Italian Automoto Festival with up to 200 Italian cars on display – from supercars to vespas!

On the Quayside in front of the Food Dock, you'll be able to see Ferraris and Lamborghinis, alongside an eclectic mix of Italian classics along Southgate moorings, down Victoria Drive, and across Mariners Square.

Wholly Gelato will also be showcasing a tasty selection of Italian-inspired gelato!

📸 *Throwback to the History of Painswick New Street!* 🏘️

Here’s an incredible glimpse into the past! This photo shows New Street in Painswick, a charming and historic part of the village. Dating back to the 15th century, New Street has always been a focal point in the heart of Painswick.

Seen here one of the oldest buildings on New Street is the former Painswick Post Office, a half-timbered structure believed to date back to 1428. Originally a key route for transporting goods to and from the village, it’s seen a lot of change over the years. From its quaint cottages to the cobbled streets, this area holds so much of the character and heritage that makes Painswick so special. 🌿

Did you know? Many of the fine old buildings in Painswick New Street can be traced back to the heyday of the cloth making industry. Built from limestone cut from local quarries, their construction was made possible by the wealth generated by the cloth making industry.

Yummy, if you are visiting Painswick you have to take a walk up to Painswick Beacon and pop into the restaurant at the golf club for coffee, a full English, cakes or a Sunday roast.
