Welcome to our luxury lakeside lodges located in the heart of the peaceful Suffolk countryside, surr Nature is at the heart of Welhams Meadow.

We are a family-run farming business which diversified into holiday lets at Welhams Meadow back in 2019, where we now have three lodges named after the trees that surround them: Oak, Ash and Willow. Our mission is to create a relaxing space where people create lasting memories with their family and friends. The lodges overlook our fishing lakes and lots of countryside footpaths can be enjoyed from

your doorstep! We are pet friendly and also offer guided farm walks if you're interested in learning more about farming, food and the environment. We look forward to welcoming you to Welhams Meadow!

🍁 Take a moment to slow down… This wooden bench, just a minute’s walk from our lodges, offers the perfect spot to pause and soak up the beauty of our larger fishing lake 🐟

Each lodge has a fishing permit for guests to use for our two fishing lakes 🎣

At Welhams Meadow, we believe in the joy of slowing down, whether it’s listening to the water ripple on the reeds or simply enjoying being in nature 🌿 So come and find your perfect perch 🧡

🍔 Sizzle season has started! There's nothing quite like the delicious smells and sounds of a BBQ on a sunny day! ☀️

So fire up the grill for some alfresco feasting here at Welhams Meadow on your patio 🏡 whilst overlooking one of our fishing lakes 😎 Here is our latest addition, Willow Lodge, soaking up the rays!

Please remember to bring your own charcoal for the BBQs and let the sizzling begin! 🔥

Yipee! It’s officially the start of Spring 🌼 today marks the Spring Equinox which means longer days, new life and more beautiful bird song 🪺🌱🌸

We love receiving reviews from our guests, especially of our newest addition at Welhams Meadow, our wonderful Willow Lodge 🏡 it makes all the hard work worth it 💙

We saw these lovely Snowdrops on a walk close to the lodges today ❄️ A sign of the end of winter and the promise of spring 🌷 Did you know Snowdrops contain a natural anti-freeze and even if they collapse in freezing weather they recover once the temperature rises 🌡️

Snowdrop’s scientific name is Gallanthus which means ‘milk flower’ 🥛 and their pollen and nectar is an early spring feast for many bees 🐝

Get closer to nature 🦉 Did you know that each of our cosy lodges comes equipped with a pair of binoculars? 🏡🔭

Our family have always looked after the habitats and wildlife here on the farm 🌳 and from carrying out improvements for the past 35years, the number of bird species that have been counted by the RSPB have never been higher! 🦢🪺🐦

We'd love to see the wildlife you see during your stay here 🦚 From all the vibrant pheasants strutting through the fields and ducks on the lakes 🦆 plus keep your eyes peeled for the elusive kingfisher, a shy resident at Welhams Meadow 👑
