Welcome to the Chiang Mai Elephant Programme — where every single day begins and ends with these gentle, magnificent giants.

Our volunteers aren't tourists here. They're caregivers. They spend their days preparing food, bathing elephants in the river, learning about each individual animal's story, and walking alongside them through the lush jungle of Northern Thailand 🌿🇹🇭

These are rescued elephants — many of whom have come from difficult backgrounds. What they need most is patience, kindness, and people who show up for them every single day. That's exactly what our volunteers give them. 🤍

There are no rides. No performances. Just ethical, meaningful, hands-on elephant care in one of the most beautiful corners of the world.

If you've ever dreamed of spending your days in the jungle caring for elephants — this is your sign. 🌏

This is what Spring Break looks like when you choose purpose over paradise. 🌿🐾
A huge shoutout to this absolutely incredible group from NYU Tandon School of Engineering — who did something truly special with their week off. 👏
Instead of heading to the beach, these remarkable students travelled to Puyo, Ecuador, where they spent their Spring Break volunteering at a local animal rescue centre — supporting the care and rehabilitation of rescued wildlife in the heart of the Amazon.
From preparing food and cleaning enclosures to assisting with daily operations, every single hour they gave made a real and lasting difference to the animals in their care. But what stood out just as much as the hard work was the spirit they brought — the curiosity, the teamwork, the genuine heart for doing something meaningful. 💚
This is exactly the kind of group that reminds us why we do what we do. You didn't just visit Ecuador — you showed up for it. 🇪🇨
