This Saturday Neat are running a fundraiser day for a little boy called Ellis who needs our help Ellis, who is nearly three years old, was diagnosed with a 12cm cancerous tumour called neuroblastoma in July 2023.

Ellis needs life saving treatment in the USA 🇺🇸

When I heard about this it made me so sad 😢 and I wanted to help in anyway I could and once I reached out to Ellis’s mum we decided a Bibbidi Bobbidi Balloons voucher 🎈would be something different.

So please if you can come along tomorrow morning with some ££ and do some good and help Ellis get this life saving treatment in the USA.

Loads of Surrey businesses have donated wonderful gifts and services so be lucky tomorrow, you have to be in it to win it, and maybe you can win our voucher which is £200 for a bespoke balloon design service for any special occasion.

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of hosting our first mobile birthday party for Marena’s 11th Birthday which was a slime and paint party 🎨🖌️

This was supposed to be held at our studio but because our studio is now closed 😢 I was so grateful Helen (Marena’s mum) who was more than happy to move it to her home 🏠

Myself and Carrie arrived at Langley Vale and set up our painting studio in 15 minutes protecting the dining room table, aprons to protect the children’s clothing, all we need is a plug for our hair dryer to speed up the process.

We provide party bags, sweetie cone bags, balloons 🎈 and can even bring dust sheets to protect your carpet and we do have a large table and chairs that we can bring to your home if you don’t have a big enough table and chairs.

Cheers to nearly 27 years !

Wow I was not expecting how busy and how many people were going to visit us today for our last day painting in the studio and all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It was so lovely to end on a high in a sweaty messy heap on the floor with piles of washing up singing to heart FM with my darling daughter Carrie
who has been flipping amazing these past months.

Thank you for all the love and support for both my businesses I will be back stronger and wiser but for now its time to close this page of the book and focus on my childrens mental health❤️❤️❤️

Carrie had a Year 10 tests at The Brits school and myself Joshua were waiting in the reception area and I was catching up on work when who should come up to us by Stuart Worden the principal of the Brit school who I have known for 7 years since Chloe joined the Brits at age 14 years also.

He asked Joshua how he was and shook his hand and said hey l’ve got that team coming in next week to talk to me and Joshua’s mouth hit the floor as he was wearing a Chelsea football T-Shirt , Joshua said are you the guy at the Brit awards who handed Raye her award and he said yes and have you met Spider-Man and we just giggled !

I said to Stuart how overjoyed I was that Carrie had made it into the Brits school and how inspiring his talk was at the AEN open day on Monday and when he gets time I would really like to talk with him, he said sure just email my PA and we can do this absolutely.

I start typing my essay to Stuart and try to send it over to him and his PA but it bounces back so with the help of Dan (another Brit legend) !

We have 4 hours to kill before Carrie is back at Khronosso we head to harvester and then to Crystal Palace park and I get a call from a number I don’t recognise and I don’t answer it and I check my emails and theirs an email from Stuart saying please call me so l do and he says please come in at 4.30pm as I want to meet with you and discuss everything you have emailed.

Carrie goes off to her dance classes, Joshua is in the reception busy feeding his dinosaurs (game on his chrome book) and I get met by Stuart and taken into his office I am literally pinching myself and spy a David Bowie book and say “oh my god he is my favourite” and he says mine to, we talk about Labyrinth one of my most favourite films and we chat about my current situation and my proposal and we talk about fundraising and PTA and mental health and the crisis their is with young people and the unrealistic expectations that is required of them.

All I can say is watch this space, thank you for listening for me and seeing me so quickly and I look forward to working with you all in the future.

Just an update as life continues to be a challenge the studio will be open this week on :

Wednesday 19th June 10am-5.30pm
Friday 21st June 10am-2pm
Saturday 22nd June 9am-5.30pm

I am sorry for the huge inconvenience and for the lateness of items being hand painted and decorated and fired in our kilns, for the phone being full of voicemails and sometimes I just can’t answer the phone.

All I can say is that I am doing my best given the circumstances.

I just want to say thank you so much to the awesome Sutton police, and the lovely St Helier hospital paramedics and all the staff at the Children’s A & E department and Georgia from CAMS who all responded so quickly and so calmly and finally understood the sheer desperation we have been facing for over 3 months now.

From the lovely nurse who came with teddies for both Carrie and Joshua, the play nurse who brought Jenga and charades, the night nurse who brought sandwiches and to Joshua and Carrie’s excitement icecream 🍦

You looked after us, listened to us and I hope and pray we are finally making progress, you are all heroes and from one very tired frustrated mummy I thank you ❤️

Our Creative Day Camps run on every school holiday Monday to Friday drop off is at 9am and collection at 5pm.

All you need to provide is a packed lunch and a drink.
We will provide breakfast cereal and toast, drinks and cookies throughout the day, ice lolly after lunch and popcorn W with the Disney + movie and Dinner is Pizza or Pasta from Prezzo’s 🍕

It’s a jammed packed day full of arts and crafts, we decorate cupcakes, make chocolate lollipops, slime and sand art, making snowglobes and ceramic money banks.

Suitable for children aged 4 years upwards.
£55 cost per child per day and if your coming with a sibling or a friend or booking more than 1 camp during that holiday period its reduced to £53 per child.

Just over 3 weeks until the children have a week off and we have our Creative Day Camps all planned for Monday 12th February until Friday 16th February 9am-5pm.

We provide breakfast, ice lolly, popcorn 🍿 while watching the Disney + movie and dinner is pizza or pasta from Prezzo’s the day is a jammed packed arts and crafts day and perfect for children aged 4 years upwards.

All you need to provide is a packed lunch and a drink the cost is £55 per child or reduced to £53 per child if booking with a sibling or a friend or booking more than 1 camp.

We also have 3 pay as you paint sessions each day through out the February half term and the sessions are 9am-11.30am or 12pm-2.30pm or 3pm-5pm.

We are now closed for Christmas 🎄

It’s been a roller coaster of a year and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support for our two small businesses, it’s been an incredibly tough one for so many people.

“It came without ribbons, it came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags!”

“Maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more.”

“No one should be alone on Christmas.”

Thank you to husband Jay for all the help on big jobs, all the vinyl you make every day and muscle when clearing big jobs and to my 3 wonderful children who put up with two very busy stressed parents and I am sorry we don’t get much quality time together but you know we love your dearly ❤️❤️❤️

I wish you all a very Happy healthy Christmas and I look forward to what 2024 brings !
