🌿 Walk Derbyshire Month | Mental Health Awareness Week 🌿
As we step into Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s a great reminder of how powerful walking can be for our mental wellbeing – helping us slow down, clear our minds, connect with others and enjoy the world around us.
Taking time to move, talk and be outdoors can support mental health in simple but meaningful ways. Walking with others can reduce isolation, boost mood and create space for conversation and reflection.
Across Derbyshire, there are lots of mindful and wellbeing‑focused walking groups you can join, including:
🚶♀️ Mindscapes Photography Walk
🌳 MindSpace – Chesterfield & Markeaton Park
🍃 Woodland Wellbeing Walk
👟 Eckington Wellbeing Walk
💬 Women’s Wellbeing Walk
🌈 Walk4Wellbeing
🤝 Let’s Talk Together
👶 Blaze Trails – Baby Walks
🚶 Easy Walking Group
🗣️ LET’S Exercise, Talk and Support
🌟 Life Walk
Whether you’re walking to look after your mental health, meet new people or simply enjoy some fresh air, there’s a supportive group ready to welcome you.
