Based in Swanage, Dorset, Green Man is a values driven organisation specialising in designing and delivering powerful bespoke learning and development programmes for a range of clients including primary and secondary schools, youth organisations and corporate teams. We use a range of adventurous activities, outdoor environments and indoor activities a

s vehicles for both team and personal development.In order to ensure the highest quality on all our courses, our staff are hand picked for their excellent technical skills as well as their exceptional facilitation skills. By doing so we are certain that a rich and positive experience is had by all participants. Safety, support and fun are integral to all Green Man events, as is the concept of Challenge by Choice. We believe that maximum development occurs when people are empowered and take ownership of their development, and as such participants are always supported in the choices they make regarding their level of participation.

We would like to thank Dorset Buttons Morris dancers (Ladies Team) who recently presented a Cheque to Dorset Search & Rescue for £905. The Women’s side of the Buttons Morris dancers have very generously collected all their donations and made us their charity of choice for the last 12 months.

This group of ladies (with a gentleman band of musicians) are based in Wareham but play at venues across the region since 1978.
Dorset Search & rescue are extremely grateful for this donation and wish them well for the 2026 season.
