With a huge lawn, loads of seating, six foot + fencing and the only access via the house, you know you and yours will be super safe in Magnolia House’s gorgeous back garden.

What’s your favourite time of year for a family beach day?

Maybe it’s not summer after all. Winter weekends mean hot fish and chips for chilly fingers, windswept cheeks followed by a cosy bath at Magnolia House and lots of running and digging on the sand.

It’s a five minute walk to Swanage’s glorious (at any time of year!) Sandy beach.

A very special delivery for our first festive guests today, from local baker Amanda’s Cakes. If you’re visiting this Christmas, expect some lovely homemade mince pies as part of your welcome.

And if you’re not yet, we have one weekend remaining, 12th to 14th is now £950.

Magnolia House is about sinking into the comfort and ease of a family holiday where you don’t have to bring the kitchen sink…. Or even your own shampoo 😉

The gorgeous shampoo, conditioner and cleansing gel can be found in each of the bathrooms, so that’s one less thing to worry about and a little bit more headspace to plan how you’ll be celebrating 🎉

Bring the family (we sleep ten) and the pooch (huge enclosed lawned garden) and head to the beach (a five minute walk away).

One weekend remaining for December: 12th to 14th. £950 with a late check out on Sunday too.

If your best friend needed a proper reset, what would you do?

Joanne’s husband and friends booked her a weekend at Magnolia House and time together is the best gift of all. Joanne had had a deeply challenging year and sea air, hugs and time together was exactly what she needed.

There was eating, drinking and endless talking around Magnolia’s big table. Joanne called it the heart of the house, perfect for hours of chatting and putting the world to rights.

The weather was terrible but it didn’t matter. The magic was inside.

Afterwards Joanne said she’d recommend Magnolia House to ‘anyone looking for a comfortable and social space to spend time with friends or family’. I was chuffed to bits with that.
