So the daughter asked us fancy a spin to look at some sheep with us. They were buying some for the grandson.
Well we went and ended up buying with them.
We came home with 20 😂😂😂

We went for a lovely walk around Lliw cafe in Felindre, spent the afternoon walking up to the top reservoir then back down to the bottom. Farmer Wil was not impressed as he had the work to do on the farm 😂

🔥 IMPORTANT FIRE SAFETY NOTICE 🔥

Due to the current government wildfire alerts and extremely dry conditions, there is a ban on all fires on site from Saturday 15th August.

We appreciate that BBQs and fire pits are part of the camping experience, but safety has to come first — for our guests, the campsite and the surrounding countryside.
So even though gas BBQs / pizza ovens are significantly safer than many other types we are not going to make any exceptions(so please do not bring them) partly because we want to show some consideration for our hard working fire fighters who have been dealing with grass fires constantly the last few days/weeks. We hope all our guests will agree that this is a sensible decision and not one that we have taken lightly

On Wednesday 12th August 2026, the Moon will pass across the Sun, creating a spectacular partial solar eclipse — and you could experience it from our campsite! 😍
