I was speechless arriving at for the first time. Fitting, perhaps because there is a peacefulness to this place that almost resists words entirely. I was struck by the clever canopy of green gardens draped across every suite and villa, leaving the sea views wholly uninterrupted. It’s from this vantage point that I recommend starting your day slowly at breakfast. A bounty of beautiful things, while a violinist plays gentle relaxing music nearby.

To top up our Vitamin D levels we needed some sun. Each suite or villa has a pool or whirlpool bath so even at full capacity, the resort feels somehow yours alone. A quiet superpower of the Nana Princess. For beach lovers there is a gorgeous sandy beach and clear blue sea. Here you can enjoy your own cabana with sofas and sunbeds giving you a fantastic amount of space to relax, with incredible waiter service for drinks and delicious dishes.

Our evening begins on the sea-view terrace of the Artemis Lounge for finely mixed cocktails, with the ever-changing sunset as our backdrop.
A club car delivers us to a candlelit dinner at Eternal Blue, which truly delivers on its name — sitting at the shoreline, we dined on the freshest catch served with quiet elegance.

And the people. Service here is something else entirely. A family of warm, genuinely helpful souls who give everything without ever making you feel it. Unassuming, unhurried, and quite impossible to fault. It’s quite an experience and one we shall never forget.

Love,
Karen x

GoldenEye at 80

80 years ago, Ian Fleming discovered a stretch of Jamaican coastline that would change everything. He called it Goldeneye. Set on a former donkey racetrack overlooking Oracabessa Bay, it became the place where he wrote every James Bond adventure. Fleming returned year after year to the same desk, the same view, tapping into the magic that made his imagination possible.

Mornings began with a swim in the calm sea. Then, with birds overhead, the breeze swaying the trees, he would write with disciplined focus, often producing up to 2,000 words a day.

This May, as we mark what would have been his birthday, GoldenEye reflects on 80 years of a legacy rooted in this coastline and invites you to experience it as Fleming did.

Book the GoldenEye at 80 Experience for a four-night stay inspired by the life of Fleming himself, including accommodation, daily breakfast, a bush bath at The Spa, a guided snorkelling excursion of the Fleming Reef, and a nature and birdwatching tour. The newly dedicated Fleming Room offers a glimpse into the inspirations, rituals, and lasting imprint of the man who found paradise here, and never quite left.

One of the world’s hippest boutique properties, steeped in history and alive with story. A stay shaped by setting, legacy, and a connection to Jamaica that continues to unfold.

April took us from the Scottish Highlands to the shores of Cyprus ✨

April was one of those months that reminded us exactly why we love what we do. We started closer to home, visiting the wonderful team at Carrier HQ with Easter eggs in hand, then heading out across the UK for a busy season of agent events: a two-day training with luxury specialists at the Aspire Escapes in Wiltshire, dinners with the BA teams in Newcastle and Manchester, and two beautiful Scotland visits; an afternoon tea with If Only and their key travel agents in their Glasgow office as well as a lovely lunch at Tigerlily in Edinburgh. We also attended the SPAA Roadshow in Edinburgh, which had an excellent turn out of luxury agents from across the region.

Then came Cyprus. 🇨🇾 We joined Constantinou Bros for the relaunch of Asimina Suites in Paphos. First, at an extraordinary dinner with 80 travel specialists and the Deputy Minister of Tourism for Cyprus and then hosting 30 plus journalists and media from the British Guild of Travel Writers for four days at the property. Paphos in the spring sun, a hotel that has levelled up and is now boasting new fifth- floor suites and a rooftop bar, with some wonderful people in travel. We came home very happy (and very tired)!

India in spring is pure technicolour — there’s nothing quite like it 🌈 🌺

Above Dal Lake, the tulip gardens are in full bloom. In the forests of Kanha National Park, palash trees burn copper-orange, setting the landscape alight. In Punjab, Baisakhi is just around the corner. And in Madurai, an entire city prepares for a wedding.

Some say this is when India is most itself — and most generous with it.

It would take a lifetime to experience the best of India but right now, we’d build a journey around four moments: a houseboat on Dal Lake as the apricot blossom peaks; the high-altitude orchards of Kinnaur (with a table at NAAR, Prateek Sadhu’s extraordinary 16-seat restaurant in the hills); wildlife in Bandhavgarh National Park before the heat sets in; and the Kochi-Muziris Biennale — still the most exciting contemporary art event in Asia, full stop.

Incent Tours knows exactly where to place you within it all.

Le Petit Monde’s March Highlights ✨

What a great month of connection, collaboration, zigzagging across the UK for some great events - here are just some of our highlights…

We kicked things off in the best possible way in beautiful Harrogate, Yorkshire with an agent dinner and an AZURE training evening.

Hosted a refreshing yoga brunch at Inspiring Travel in Chester- the perfect blend of wellness and wonderful company.

Patricia joined Unite Caribbean for Island Outpost Jamaica, a brilliant event superbly arranged by Debbie Flannagan in Westminster, London.

Sue headed to the glorious Chewton Glen in Hampshire for two inspiring days at the Aspire travel agent event, catching up with partners and friends old and new.

Closer to home, we hosted a fantastic hospitality day at Chester Football Club alongside Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel who sponsored the team and had the honour of selecting Man of the Match.

It was also a real pleasure to welcome Maria Vassilaki from Nana Princess, who joined us for a full week of calls - nothing beats face-to-face time!

Rounding off the month in Bath, at Azure’s World Showcase.

Now we’re ready to spring into April, which I feel is one of the most magical times of year, as everything begins to bloom and new travel adventures start to take shape. 🌿

Imagine swimming in the Aegean before breakfast.
Early summer in Greece might just be the Mediterranean’s best-kept secret.

Before the height of summer, the Greek coast feels wonderfully relaxed. The sea is already warm enough for long swims, the beaches are peaceful, and the scent of pine drifts through the warm Aegean air.

At .Resort in beautiful Halkidiki, many travellers find that this is when the destination feels particularly special. Mornings begin slowly with breakfast overlooking the Aegean Sea, followed by beach days, boat trips along the coast and long, lingering lunches by the water. Cruise along the coastline to view the monasteries of Mount Athos, or explore nearby Ouranoupolis while the streets are still blissfully uncrowded.

As evening falls, the light softens across the sea, and dinner stretches late into the night beneath warm Mediterranean skies.

After all, the very best time to travel is often just before everyone else discovers it. ✨

If early summer in Greece is calling, now is the perfect moment to start planning.
