🎈 NEW: INTRODUCING OUR STANDBY FLIGHT — £140 PER PERSON

Ever dreamed of floating above the countryside in a hot air balloon? Now there’s a new way to experience it for less.

Introducing our Standby Flight Voucher — designed for those who live locally, have flexible diaries and love the idea of a little spontaneity.

✨ The same incredible balloon flight, for £140 per person.

Here’s how it works:

🎈 Rather than choosing a date, you’ll receive invitations when last-minute flight opportunities become available.

🌅 Opportunities may be on weekday or weekend mornings and evenings, depending on availability.

📅 We’ll provide at least 4 flight opportunities during the March–October flying season, giving you chances to find a time that works for you.

❤️ You have 12 months to use your voucher, with an extension if we haven’t provided the promised opportunities.

Is it right for you?

If you’re local, can travel at short notice and don’t need to plan your flight date in advance, this could be the perfect way to join us.

It’s a simple exchange: you give us flexibility, and we give you a better price.

🥂 The views, the adventure and the unforgettable memories are just the same.

Everyone has a favourite... 🎈

We asked Hugo which launch site he'd choose if he could only pick one.

Do you agree with his answer? 👀

Taking Regency adventures to new heights… quite literally! 🎈

During the Jane Austen Festival, Bath a group of us swapped the streets of Bath for the skies and took a hot air balloon flight over the city - all, naturally, in full Regency dress. If one is going ballooning during the Jane Austen Festival, Bath , one must dress appropriately! 😂

Our take-off was… eventful. There was a slightly bumpy moment where I did briefly wonder whether our grand aerial adventure was going to be over before it had properly begun! But once we were up, it was wonderfully peaceful and smooth.

And the VIEWS! 😍 Watching Bath and the surrounding countryside stretch out beneath us in the evening light was absolutely spectacular. It was so calm once we were up there, and one of those experiences where photographs simply don’t quite capture how beautiful it was.

A huge thank you to the brilliant team at Fly Away Ballooning | Hot Air Balloon Rides 🎈 who were fantastic from beginning to end and made the whole experience such fun.

Regency gowns, bonnets, friends, beautiful evening skies and a hot air balloon floating over Bath… definitely one for the Austen adventure scrapbook. 🎈💙

Think the adventure ends when you land? Think again. 🎈

Rich explains what happens after touchdown, from packing away the balloon to celebrating with a well-earned glass of bubbly before heading back to the launch site.

Not your Normal flight... 👀🎈

We recently welcomed on board for something a little different, taking to the skies to film part of their latest music video from the basket.

Safe to say, this wasn't your average day in the office. 🎬

Sometimes the safest decision is not to fly. 🎈

If the conditions aren't exactly as they should be, we simply don't take off. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, our passengers can rebook for another day when the conditions are right.

That's because no flight is ever worth compromising on safety.

Summer might be coming to an end... but ballooning season isn't. 🎈

There's still time to experience the magic of a flight with Fly Away Ballooning.
