The Bee Fairy's February rhyme - looking forward to spring 💐

In February's gentle fading light,
The whispers of winter begin to take flight,
Birdsong breaks the still, crisp air,
A melody sweet, a promise rare.

Snowdrops emerge from their chilly sleep,
Nodding their heads as the earth starts to seep,
With hints of warmth in the sun's soft rays,
They herald the dawn of brighter days.

The larder grows thin while creatures awake,
They sense the change and their spirits partake,
Hope flutters softly on wings that take flite,
For February was the month I was born.

Yet caution remains in the heart of the year,
For winter can linger, its bite still near,
But with each passing hour, each longer day’s call,
We cherish the promise of growth over all.

So let us rejoice in this tender embrace,
As nature prepares for her coming showcase;
With a freshening breeze that whispers and sways,
February unfolds in hopeful displays.
