Amaizing!🌽
Elton Giant Mazes are a great place to visit if staying in the Tetbury area. The theme for 2026 is Space and gives explorers of all ages the chance to journey through the impressive Giant Rocket Maze, explore the Space Station Maze, and investigate the mysterious UFO maze as you wander through acres of living maize.
The adventure continues in the Activities Maze featuring over 20 fun and engaging activity stations.
Open daily 10.30 - 17.30 until 1st September
Typical visit time 2 - 3 hours.

Join us for a day of family fun this summer with a special visit from Witch herself!
Witch will appear at intervals throughout the day - remember your camera for that all-important selfie!
What’s happening:
• Meet and greet with Witch at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm
• Explore the Room on the Broom trail
• Face painting* (additional charge)
• Story telling in the Great Oak Hall at 11:30am and 2:30pm
There’s no need to book - just turn up and enjoy the tun. Meet-and-greets are on a first-come, first-served basis and may get busy, so arrive early to avoid missing out.
Can’t make these dates? Don’t worry - our Room on the Broom trail is open all year round.

Children aged 4+ and their families are invited to try a fun new museum trail at over 45 museums across the UK this summer. The Lotta and Lola Museum Trail is a free spotter activity from Kids in Museums and Simon & Schuster inspired by Pudding Now Please, a new and original series from Charlie and Lola creator Lauren Child, starring Lola and her friend Lotta.

The trail will run from Saturday 12th August – 12th September Tetbury Police Museum and Courtroom

Follow the trail around the museum to help Lotta and Lola collect kind and useful-ish words that help us all get along. Complete the trail to collect a free sticker!

Share your drawing on Instagram or BlueSky with the hashtag and tag for a chance to win wonderful prizes, including a Double National Art Pass Plus Kids courtesy of Art Fund and a signed Lauren Child book bundle!

Open Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 3:00pm. Police Tetbury Police Museum and Courtroom volunteers are available to assist visitors on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Not just a show. Not just a walk. An exciting adventure near Tetbury!

Running every Thursday throughout August, The Watchers of Woodchester is a brand-new immersive outdoor adventure created in collaboration with theatre makers Rusticus. Designed for families, the experience blends storytelling, nature, and play to bring the Mansion’s landscape and hidden details to life.
Visitors will be guided through the grounds by engaging performers, encountering magical characters, taking part in interactive activities, and uncovering a story inspired by the mysterious creatures carved into Woodchester’s stonework. The adventure concludes at the Mansion itself, where families can explore the building, visit Henry’s café, and enjoy the National Trust Woodchester Park Play Trail.
This unique event offers a fresh way to experience Woodchester Mansion — combining heritage, imagination and outdoor exploration into one memorable day out.
