Important Notice
We with regret after careful consideration , the TTG team have taken the difficult decision not to hold any future Thirsk Truck Gatherings. With many new thriving business and developments underway at Thirsk Farmers Auction Mart and surrounding land availability restrictions, it is clear we would be unable to provide the annual event our visitors both deserve and have grown to love. From our very humble beginnings back in 2013, the gathering has grown exponentially, making it unfortunately impossible to deliver going forward. The TTG team would like to thank everybody who made the Gathering become what it was, you all made it feel special to us. We wish you all the best for the future and hope to see you all at other shows very soon.

Take care from all the TTG team.

Some very sad news today, that a local truck enthusiast has passed away. Sean Cook would often be seen in Pickering photographing trucks passing through the town. Sean had a great following for his truck photos and all the local drivers would always look out for him and look forward to seeing the photos later on line. He was a very familiar face at TTG ,he would put 100% into everything to help the team and always had time for everyone. Driving through his home town will never be the same again without his big grin, thumbs up, and a click of the camera ❤️x

It's with great sadness that this years Annual Truck Gathering at Thirsk has been cancelled for a second year due to the pandemic. However the team have decided that they couldnt let this year go without a donation to charity. The team have come together and decided to each do a 100 mile bike ride together to raise money for two charities that are close to our hearts. The bike ride will be done throughout the month of June 2021 and if anyone would like to make a donation this would be much appreciated. Please make sure to tell all your friends and family about our fundraiser as every penny counts. Please share on your social media. Thank you.

This is the SponsorMe page I am using to raise money for an Event

A Throw back of our first ever Charity Charity dinner dance. Saturday 15th November 2016.

Thirsk Truck Gathering dinner dance raises almost £2,600 plus a further donation of £1,000 from the team for Motor Neurone Disease Association and Macmillan Cancer Support

MORE than 100 guests attended Thirsk Truck Gathering’s inaugural dinner-dance, which was held to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event at Thirsk Auction Mart featured a three-course dinner, music by Tim Whitworth, of Thirsk, an auction and a raffle.

It raised £2,590 for the charities and the truck gathering, which attracted 470 wagons from the south coast to the north of Scotland and featured entertainment, food and trade stands, donated a further £1,000.

Event organiser Jason Smallridge said the event had grown into a popular get-together for the trucking community.

He said: “We thought the dinner-dance was going to raise about £1,000, but everyone was very generous, so we raised a good total.

“It was a very enjoyable night so we are already planning on holding another dinner-dance for 120 people next year.”
