Good morning ☀️❄️
I’ve been putting off posting for several reasons, but mainly due to uncertainty about when,where,how we’ll be contributing to cheesy world domination again And my emotional instability around broaching what’s happened to our plans.
So first of all, I’m sorry for the lack of communication and information. Here’s what’s happening right now….
Progress on the white van is slow, although the work done so far is spot on! My clever brother Doug has worked wonders with design and fitting, and Steve has been putting in Saturday hours too, along with our mate Bill. I’m so grateful for their commitment to getting the van as perfect as possible, especially as they have full time employment. Now it’s busy for Doug and he’s working Saturdays, so we’re looking forward to nailing a few days during the Christmas holiday.
West Yorkshire Police have gone quiet on the investigation of Parminder Singh (Pummy to his friends and victims), and we’re not thinking we’ll get our 15k back.
No one thinks they’ll be scammed and I like to think we’re pretty smart, but when it happens it can have a devastating effect on the victim. Feelings of shame, panic and an overwhelming disappointment in (some forms of) humanity. With this in mind, I’m grateful for the support and understanding given to us by so many friends and customers.
Van life (in the fast lane), is now due to commence in 2023
No dates/times now, in order to avoid disappointment.
