⚠️ SERVICE UPDATE – CV002 ⚠️

Due to the closure of the M5 near Exeter, traffic is currently being diverted via Bickleigh which is causing significant congestion in the area.

Our CV002 vehicle is presently in Bickleigh attempting to work its way through the traffic, however delays are unfortunately unavoidable at this time.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding whilst the road network remains heavily affected.

We’re currently experiencing a power outage at our depot, which means our systems and phone lines are temporarily unavailable.

We’re working to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible.

Today we say our final farewell to our colleague and friend, Paul.

It is a very difficult day for all of us at Kingdoms Tours as we remember someone who was part of our team and our daily working life.

Our thoughts are with Paul’s family, loved ones, and close friends today as they lay him to rest. We hope they can take comfort in knowing how respected he was and how much he meant to those around him.

Thank you, Paul, for your time, your effort, and your dedication. You will not be forgotten.

🚦 SERVICE DELAYS – TRAFFIC DISRUPTION 🚦

Due to the closure of the M5, we are experiencing traffic delays this morning.

🚌 CV042 is expected to be running late as a result of the motorway closure and surrounding congestion.

⏳ In addition, CV002 and CRED011 may also experience delays as vehicles make their way through heavy traffic at Bickleigh.

Drivers are progressing as safely and efficiently as possible, but journey times will be longer than usual.

📢 SERVICE UPDATE – SCHOOL SERVICES OPERATING

At present, we are operating all school services.

However, CV001 will NOT be able to serve Barton Cross or Danes Wood this morning.

Road conditions in this area remain uncertain, and if flood water is encountered there is no safe location for the vehicle to turn around. For safety reasons, this section of the route is suspended until conditions can be confirmed as passable.

All other parts of the route are operating as normal at this time.

Safety of passengers and drivers must always come first. Thank you for your understanding.

📢 SCHOOL CLOSURE UPDATE

We have now been informed that the following schools are closed today due to the severe weather and flooding:

🎓 Clyst Vale Community College
🎓 Queen Elizabeth School
🎓 Cheriton Fitzpaine Primary School

As a result, ALL services serving these schools will NOT operate today.

We will resume normal transport as soon as schools reopen and road conditions are safe

⚠️ SERVICE DISRUPTION – FLOODING ⚠️

Due to significant flood water on local roads, we are experiencing major disruption to services this morning.

🚫 The following services are NOT operating at this time:
• CRED011
• CRED002
• CRED005
• CV001
• CV002
• TIV001

🌊 CV042 – We are currently unable to access Farringdon due to road conditions. This section of the route is suspended until it is safe to pass.

Safety of our passengers and drivers must come first, and several roads are currently unsafe or impassable.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as conditions improve and routes reopen.

It has been reported to us that the road between Brampford Speke and Upton Pyne has now reopened.

🚌 Normal service on Route CRED002 will now resume.

🚧 Service Update – Route CRED002 🚧

The road has been closed between Brampford Speke and Upton Pyne.

Due to this closure, we will only be able to serve the following stops:
• Brampford Speke
• Upton Pyne bus stop

These are the only off main road stops that can be safely accessed at this time.

✅ Unaffected:
• Bernaville Nurseries
• Newton St Cyres

Services to these areas remain unaffected at present.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as anything changes. Thank you for your patience.
