Three village halls, one unforgettable journey into the heart of our bothy heritage.

Step inside a world where tales are told with wit, ballads ring with history, and fiddle tunes carry the spirit of the North East. Join storytellers Phyll McBain & Jackie Ross, bothy ballad singer Allan Taylor, and fiddler Karin Paterson for an evening steeped in tradition, humour, and the warmth of community.

Whether you grew up with bothy culture or you’re discovering it for the first time, this is a celebration that will stay with you.

A great place to recommend to our visitors for mountain biking and the zip line. Looking forward to visiting the cafe soon ☕️

WE ARE OPEN!!! The snow has gone, the temperature is slowly rising and today is the first day of the 3 weeks of 7 day opening at the cafe, bike hire and zip trail.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all and don’t forget to book on line for zips and bikes to avoid disappointment if we don’t have availability when you arrive 😊

A spectacular display of the Aurora last night! Luckily the clouds cleared out for the main show which stretched much further around the sky and overhead than I’ve seen before, even changing the light to the south too! So glad our guests at the mill were able to experience them too and maybe again tonight. Photo credit to our guests for the night silhouette 🙏 🤩

If you've ever dreamed of seeing the planets 🪐 up close through a telescope, now’s your chance! 🔭 We'll be running events in the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Cairngorms Dark Sky Park all week and sharing links to livestreaming telescopes and lectures too! There will be telescope sessions, stargazing, and a moon walk to the new Skyhide in Tomintoul. Clear skies!
