We found a bee in need 🐝

We got our sugar on a spoon with some water, and emptied it next to the weak bee.
It's tongue came out and sucked up the juicy goodness.
After a while it had flown away 💪

This week we mainly stayed at home with the odd trip to the park due to settling in new ones and ones that had been away from the setting for a while.

We made the most of the sunshine by playing in the garden, splashing in the water, transferring into different pots and celebrating VE day.

The children enjoyed making their GB posters.

We had a fun morning at Four Winds Farm today seeing the baby lambs and chicks. 🐑 🐣

They also enjoyed sitting on the tractor and quad bike.

Didn't see a lamb being born today which was a shame, but we still enjoyed our time there 😊

This week had fun at Chartwell, Bedgebury and Hever Castle.
Lucky to have our memberships to be able to go to these beautiful places, especially during the school holidays.

This week we had fun making mothers day crafts, ones who weren't interested in painting used their feed/hands instead which they enjoyed.
We also planted some sunflowers 🌻 let's see how much they grow

We made the most of the beautiful weather and headed to see some animals 🦙 🐖 🐐 🫏🐴

Next week's weather also looks promising 🤞

We made the most of the sunshine Thursday ☀️

We went to playgroup in the morning, then headed outside to eat our lunch in the sun and feed the birds ☺️

In the afternoon we re-read Pip & Posy and another of our children brought their favourite book to share with others in the setting. These push button books are great for learning to share 😊

Today was a fun day. We had other little friends join us in the morning and then in the afternoon, we looked through and we read the Pip & Posey book, pointing out the different faces and their emotions.

We played a fun game which was a hit with the children! Matching the pictures from the story in the jars using a torch 🔦.

This week the little ones are bringing in their favourite books for storytelling week. Our smallest of the group brought his singing nursery rhyme book which the children enjoyed. They sang and danced along as the tune was being played.

Today we carried on with our Lunar New Year theme, made some more snakes and made marks in red coloured salt. We used chopsticks or our fingers to make marks. 🥢

Today we went to a reptile shop to see the most gigantic snake I have ever seen! 🐍 Couldn't quite believe how big it was. We also saw some other creatures and fish 🐠🐟
We then came back and made our own snakes for Lunar New Year 🎊
