After returning from their summer expedition working alongside Better Lives, one of our team shared:

"I absolutely loved my time on this expedition, and I truly don't think anything else can replace the experience. It's something I still think about — the children we met, the impact of the work we did with Better Lives, and the memories we made as a team. It may feel daunting beforehand, but it is such an incredible opportunity. If you're nervous about any part of it, I promise that once you're there, you'll be so grateful you went. You come home with a completely new perspective."

… and just like that, our first 2026 team is officially on expedition!

They’ve laced up their boots and set out along the iconic Camino de Santiago, walking one of the world’s most historic long-distance trails.

Over the next few days, they’ll:
• Cross rolling Spanish countryside
• Trek through medieval towns
• Share stories over pilgrim dinners
• And discover what they’re capable of when the path gets tough

This is where confidence grows. Where friendships deepen. Where real adventure begins.

Imagine waking up on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, the early light catching the water, birds calling from the trees, and the day beginning slowly, just as it should.

A fire crackling through the night.
Wild Africa right outside your tent.

Fall asleep to the sounds of the bush, wake up to one of Kenya’s most iconic rivers, and realise this is the kind of moment that stays with you long after you’ve gone home.

Ol Pejeta was the gift that kept on giving…in 24 hours Kathryn saw 4 out of the big 5 on both game drives. The teams are going to love it. It’s not just about the big 5 it’s also about the ugly 5, the shy 5 and the little 5!

Fantastic to spend time with the dedicated rangers at whose work our teams learn about first-hand when they join us in Kenya. And at roughly 3,000m in the Aberdares, we caught the most incredible views across to Mount Kenya. Pure magic.

Namaste from Nepal! Our True Adventure team is fully immersed in the incredible landscapes of this amazing country. On route to their project, they broke up their journey for a cup of something special — visiting a local tea plantation and learning all about the art (and science!) of tea production 🍃☕.

From picking leaves to tasting the freshest brews, it’s a day of hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences. This is exactly the kind of adventure that makes our trips truly life-changing.
