Pisa - what’s the deal? Pisa is a great place to fly into! Flights from Bristol are really regular and great prices (easyJet).

Pisa also has great train connections to other cities like Florence, beautiful towns like Lucca (I’ll be doing a piece on this soon) and also the coast including the famous Cinque Terre region (again more on this to come).

Of course you have to see the Leaning Tower if you’re here. If you want to walk up it (and can handle hundreds of steps) book a time slot in advance. Going early or late in the day helps avoid crowds.

Otherwise I probably wouldn’t stay in Pisa just use it as a great place to fly into with good train connections to the surrounding towns or villages.

There’s also two train stations here and one is only a 5 minute walk from the tower (while the central one is better for airport etc). Any other questions - comment below and super happy to help ☀️
