Tall tales and sea shanties went very well this week for the riviera walking festival! The first date quickly sold out! So after a bit of arm twisting we unlocked a second date… Sat 21st which quickly ….SOLD OUT
The walks started at 17:00 at Maidencombe, went into the haunted forest for stories and local legends then to the beach where Cafe Rio stayed open and The Out Of Tunas entertained with songs and country dance around a roaring fire! This evenings adventure walk as part of the Geopark festival went stunningly! Thank you to The Out Of Tunas for the cultural aspect and fun on the beach and all the brave participants who graced us! More walks and fun planned over the summer!

GEOPARK FESTIVAL 2025 - English Riviera Global Geopark

Today’s Adventure Walk took in some of the highlights of the northern edge of the geopark! We visited smuggling routes, goat paths, The Elephants Graveyard, The Valley of the Rocks and much more!
We saw seals and all the delights the spring Forest had to offer.

We had stories of Second World War planes, pirates, ghosts, Bigfoot, witches and learnt about the rocks that make up this amazing coastline!
