Hooray! Thank you Daily Express for confirming what we've known all along: Totnes is incredibly beautiful, has one of the best independent high streets in the UK, and is one of the finest places you could ever choose to visit! 💐🌞 🥂

Butterwalk, Totnes’ sustainable department store, has recently undergone a refurbishment, and it's become even more impossibly beautiful in the process. 🌟

Every item feels thoughtfully curated, with jewellery, skincare, pottery, clothing (and much more) displayed with loving attention. Be prepared for every item to tempt you to take it home! 🥣

Downstairs, you'll find an excellent coffee house serving cakes from Luna's Bakehouse, The Exploding Bakery, and Sarah Raisbeck, along with Mozzo Coffee; there are private nooks for quiet moments and window seats to watch Totnes pass by. Upstairs, beyond their book collection and behind glass panelling, is the sewing workshop where their stylish sustainable clothing is designed and made. 👖

Sharpham Trust's year-round mindfulness retreat programme means that there are few opportunities for the public to visit.

But on June 14th they're inviting the public to tour their stunning gardens and grounds to discover the variety of plants, trees, fruit and vegetables that are grown and managed at Sharpham using sustainable, wildlife-supporting practices. 🌸🍅

Head Gardeners Emily and Emma will lead visitors through the formal, woodland and walled gardens that form the inspiring backdrop to our nature-connection mindfulness retreats and courses.

Shaka has moved onto the High Street, and it seems the locals can not get enough of their absolutely delicious burgers! 🍔🥬

There's burgers for everyone - including a whole separate menu for vegans and veggies too. The back garden area is a hit 🌳- but the whole place has a great vibe. ⚡We're so happy to welcome them to the High Street - bring on the cocktails, smash burgers and fries! 🤘🤘🤘
