Mike and Issy hosted a small group of golfers at the beautiful Golf du Soleil courses in Agadir last week. Everyone enjoyed the competitive element we include in our tours and despite the courses proving quite challenging there were prizes for all. From coping with 40 degree heat on the first day, the rigours of Taghazout, to more comfortable temperatures in the mid twenties later in the week, a great time was had by all. Some of us even braved the waves of the Atlantic Ocean!

Last week we took a group of fabulous clients, who also happened to be talented golfers, to Marrakesh. A great time was had by all in a beautiful location, playing 3 of the best courses in Marrakesh. We’re pleased to announce that we now have Neil Taylor as part of the Below Par team. Neil will be working with us on developing coaching holidays during 2026 and beyond.

Neil is a PGA Professional with over 15 years of coaching experience famous for his stint on the DP World Tour coaching Ryder Cup player Andy Sullivan.

Our South Africa holidays in February 2026 now include Neil. We’re also planning additional coaching holidays in both Turkey and the UAE later in the year.

Mike and Issy (and Willow the dog!) had a holiday to Elie in Fife on Scotland’s Golf Coast last week. Managed to fit in 2 rounds of golf at St Andrews and Lundin Golf Club as well as lovely walks at Elie Golf Club.

Unusually for Scotland, we were blessed with gorgeous weather making this beautiful part of the country even more so.

Society Hosted Tour to Turkey
March 2025

Mike recently took a group to Belek in Turkey acting as host for the trip. It was so successful they’ve already booked again for next year!

Staying at the 5* all-inclusive Cornelia Diamond the group played the Faldo courses associated with the hotel as well as the Montgomerie and Carya. The latter is a premium course which will be hosting the Turkish Airlines Open next month as part of the DP Tour.

We are looking at Abu Dhabi as a destination for our hosted trips in 2026 so took the opportunity to check out Yas Links Golf Course and Abu Dhabi Golf Resort while travelling home last week.
