Edinburgh Marathon Road Closures Sunday, 25th May 2025 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃

Please be advised that the Edinburgh Marathon will take place on Sunday, 25th May 2025. The marathon route passes along the main road just outside the entrance to Seton Sands.

As a result, there will be several road closures in place throughout the day. One side of the road will be fully closed to accommodate runners, while the other side will operate under a temporary traffic light system.

If you have plans to travel off-site on Sunday, we kindly recommend allowing extra time for your journey, as access to and from the park may be delayed.

Also, Lothian Buses will be running a shuttle bus service throughout the day to assist with transportation. Please see times below.
