Thank you to the City of Truro Wind Orchestra for a wonderful Bandstand Concert last Sunday!

Soak in the peaceful settings of Victoria Gardens and experience a new performance from local musicians each week for Truro City Council's 2025 Bandstand Concert series๐ŸŽถ

This week's performance will feature the West Cornwall Concert Band on Sunday 15th June. The band performs a wide ranging repertoire including classical, jazz, swing, rock, and film music - thereโ€™s something for everyone!

In a week's time, (18th June), Rhys; The Nightchurch Pianist will be holding a special performance just outside of Truro, at St. Just In Roseland!

Rhys Wynne-Jones is a homeless pianist from Nightchurch Penzance. He has raised over ยฃ21,000 for homeless charities since going viral in 2024 ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

With the aim of making the world a better place, many opportunities have opened up for the talented pianist, including a show at Truro Cathedral during November 2024 (where he received a message from Queenโ€™s Roger Taylor!), a record deal with Cornish Underground, and a continuation of fundraising concerts around the UK ๐Ÿ‘

Get ready to rev your engines! The Truro Classic Car Show is back next month on Sunday 6th July, transforming the city centre for all vehicle lovers.

This year's event will feature even more vehicles on display across Lemon Quay, Lemon Street and Boscawen Street - plus, a new addition for 2025, motorcycles will be displayed on Pydar Street! ๐Ÿ๏ธ

Great news! On Sunday 6th July, a shuttle bus service between Tregurra Park and Ride (Waitrose) and Quay Street will be running for the Truro BID Classic Car Show.

Buses will run frequently from 9.30am โ€“ 4.30pm, to ensure everyone can get to the event safely and efficiently โฐ
