Spent a few days at our lovely cottage doing some improvements. We’ve added a new rug and light, new plates and glasses so it is ready for the next season.

It was a joy yesterday morning when the sun came out, the skies were blue and the tulips looked great! The beach was wonderful and it was so nice to get home and light the fire, relax and watch a film. Perfect!

We are starting to book up this year but we do have various gaps from now through to this summer and good availability in summer holidays (at the moment!). If you would like to book, all the details are on https://coombecottage.co.uk/

As the evenings close in, what could be better than a walk on a wild, deserted beach, wrapped up against the cold, followed by a drink at the Watering Hole. Return to our lovely cottage, light the wood burner, put a film on the TV or read a book and snuggle down for the evening. Or you can light the firepit outside, and sit and watch the stars! Just perfect. Come for a long weekend or a week - choice is yours!

We have just added availability and prices to our website at coombecottage.co.uk - we are open for bookings all year round, and our cottage is a joy on a a glorious summer day or a cold chilly wet day. Nothing beats watching the stormy sea on a winters day! We can accommodate short breaks or full weeks off season. Our cottage has a lovely wood burner for added cosiness.

Electric heating in all the bedrooms, electric towel rails in the bathrooms, and underfloor heating in the kitchen make sure you are warm and cosy. The lounge has two heaters and a woodburner. Outside our small 'hobbit hut' has heating and we also have a fire pit - perfect for watching the stars on a crisp night.

We also have a podpoint electric car charger, so you can charge your car at your convenience, and we are dog friendly....

Our cottage is as lovely inside as it is outside. Cosy and warm in winter, lovely and cool in summer. Three bedrooms - two have lovely king size beds, and the third has twin beds but full size for adults! Just lovely. Great as a retreat for a couple but also lovely for a family. Best of both!

Availability for next week! After an incredible summer, where we are booked out until the end of September, we have one gap. We have last minute availability for our Cottage for 1 week from this Saturday, 12th August to the 19th August. If you are looking for a last minute Cornish getaway, in a beautiful cottage which can accommodate up to six people but is equally lovely for two, then send me a PM and we can work something out!
