🌟 Experience the Magic of the Wessex Folk Festival! 🌟

Nestled on the south side of a picturesque harbour, the Wessex Folk Festival is a beloved annual event that has been running for an incredible 21 years! Held traditionally on the first weekend in June, this festival is free to attend and is eagerly anticipated by locals and visitors alike.��With two stages showcasing a variety of performances, the atmosphere is always fantastic, creating a real buzz around the place.

This year, we were lucky enough to attend as a family and had an unforgettable time. We indulged in some amazing food (my favourite was squid with Parmesan and spring onion 😋), enjoyed browsing the unique stalls, and soaked up the vibrant atmosphere while listening to music including enchanting sea shanty songs 🎣.�

🌊🏅 Discover the Excitement at Weymouth! 🏅🌊

Weymouth is currently hosting the Weymouth Regatta, a national-level championship hosted by the Weymouth Rowing Club. Imagine 600 rowers battling it out in the mixed Grand Prix, creating an electrifying atmosphere against the backdrop of fantastic view and weather!

We were lucky enough to watch a little yesterday, whilst enjoying a wonderful walk along the coastal path. There’s always something lovely to do in Weymouth. Whether it's the regatta or other exciting activities, Weymouth offers endless fun and beautiful scenery.

🌊✨ Breathtaking New Addition to Weymouth Harbourside! ✨🌊

We are thrilled to share a stunning lifeboat mural on Custom House, marking 200 years since the foundation of the RNLI and 154 years since the establishment of a lifeboat service in Weymouth. This vibrant and colorful mural is a must-see, adding even more charm to the already lively harbour.

The mural, which shares the same unique ID as the Weymouth vessel, looks absolutely amazing. Trust us, photos don't do it justice – the detail is incredible and has to be seen to be believed!

But that's not all! Weymouth also celebrated this milestone with some incredible sand art. Displayed in a dedicated structure viewable from the Escalade, the clever artist regularly changes the display for notable events. It's always worth a look when you're taking a stroll along the seafront.

On the other side of the harbour is the real vessel and a wonderful gift shop where you can support this wonderful charity dedicated to saving lives at sea!
