Busy morning here at Ash Tree Cottage getting everything ready for our next lovely guests, who have some special requirements this time. A lovely gentleman from BayWater arrived with the oxygen supply — complete with enough tubing to reach every room! He even stayed for a quick cuppa while we were cleaning and he was setting everything up. Always a pleasure meeting kind, helpful people. All set now and looking forward to welcoming our guests — we do love making sure everyone feels right at home. 💛🏡 -accessible

Summer’s coming and our beaches will be buzzing, which means it’s the perfect time to chat about beach access and awareness.

Sometime you just have to try something new to recommend to Guests. Had a fantastic paddle boarding experience on Monday with my niece! The weather and sea conditions were absolutely perfect for our lesson. The instructors from Outer Reef Saundersfoot were incredibly patient and encouraging, clearly dedicated to making sure we had the best time possible out on the water — and we certainly did!
I’d highly recommend this team to any of our guests. We’re already planning to return with more family members. Thank you for such a memorable day!

Great for family and although they haven’t got any bikes for less able, you can hire a mobility scooter from another place in Carmarthen, or maybe you have your own. The museum has a great cafe so have a coffee their before you set off for your ride or a treat on your return.

Our Accessible Boat Trips are back for another year! 🛥️👨‍🦽

We're thrilled to announce we'll be running 6 fully funded boat trips designed for disabled people, along with their carers and companions, to experience the wonderful wildlife of Skomer and Skokholm. Join our expert local guides on a two-hour cruise along the Milford Haven waterway to look out for seabirds, marine mammals and more!

These unique trips are in partnership with Pembrokeshire Islands - Boat Trips. Made possible thanks to funding and support from the Friends of Skokholm and Skomer.

A busy but heartwarming day here at our National Award-Winning Accessible Cottages!
We’ve been getting everything ready for some wonderful returning guests — carers and clients who’ve stayed with us many times before. It’s always lovely to welcome them back to their “home away from home,” where they know exactly where everything is.

This week, we’ve made a few thoughtful changes to better support guests with limited mobility. In Stangwrach Cottage, for example, we’ve swapped the ground floor double bed for a profiling bed to ensure comfort and ease of access.

With the sun shining and the gardens looking especially peaceful, it’s been a perfect reminder of how much joy and relaxation this place offers — truly fuel for the soul.
