Well my holiday is nearly over and it was such a lovely day that I decided to take my spinning wheel up to the field and get in some spinning, the alpacas were lazing about in the field and I was just enjoying some me time, what a wonderful life.

Hi all, well it's another little milestone for Sorcha as she is taking her first meal from a bucket, I'll need to buy another bucket just for her.
Last chore of the day is to clean the buckets ready for another week of feeds, love it

What does one do when you are only 2 weeks old? Check out the menu, go for a run or play hide and seek.
Sorcha is getting curious with everything around her and is keeping everyone busy .

This is Sorcha, (pronounced Sor ka ), my latest adorable addition to my herd of alpacas, she was born on Friday afternoon . Sorcha is my first two toned cria. She has settled in very well with mum Eilidh. At two days old she is certainly keeping everyone entertained with her running and jumping. Here's to a long life with the Woolly Walks team,

Well it's 8:30 in the evening, Sarah and I are doing our last round up with the alpacas making sure they have plenty of water as it's been sweltering hot.
Please make sure if you have pets that you give them plenty of water, don't leave them in cars and don't walk for prolonged periods of time on hot roads and pavements as this could burn their feet.

From Sarah and myself and the Woolly Walks team and of course my wonderful alpacas enjoy the sunshine and have a great summer

From these gorgeous boys of mine I am starting to get skeins into my sister's shop Hearts & Stitches in Greenock. 100% alpaca wool selling at a discounted price of £15 for a 100g ball and £20 for a 200g ball for a limited time only.
Alpaca wool is beautifully soft, and hypoallergenic.
All are natural colours although further down the line hopefully natural dyeing will be introduced.
Along with the alpaca wool and Stitches there is also a wide range of wool, gifts and cross stitch kits, so if you are wanting to start a new hobby or already a serious crafter and Stitches will supply your materials. Oh and if you just want a natter Sandra can definitely supply that as well.
