Last week Mr W and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! It was a lovely opportunity for a lot of reminiscing and reflecting on just how many journeys we have taken together in that time.

We actually met on a diving holiday in Egypt, so from day one travel has been a huge part of our story. From that first underwater adventure to completing 100 dives together, the city breaks, far flung adventures, family escapes and more luxurious treats, so many of our favourite memories start with packing a suitcase or backpack.

It is a lovely reminder of why I do what I do: helping other couples, families and friends create the moments they will look back on so fondly in 20 years’ time.

Being able to bring dreams to life is one of the things I love most about my job.

Earlier this year, I was introduced to a retired couple who wanted to visit relatives in Western Canada and also travel through the Rockies, including a dream trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. They had not travelled much in recent years and found the idea of organising such a trip a bit overwhelming. We chatted things through together and worked through several options over a period of time and they finally took their trip this Autumn.
