Some photos from our last few days back in Bali. The Conrad is a really lovely hotel and the standout thing for me was without doubt, the incredible staff. We had an amazing time everywhere we visited and enjoyed the range of accommodation styles from the luxury to more basic. The main things we won't miss is living out of suitcases, trying to find things in the cases and managing all the ladies luggage from place to place 😂. I packed very lightly of course. But it was all worth it. We had our favourite places of course but loved all for different reasons. Many other areas we would have liked to have visited such as Lombok and Penida. Now back to a rather rainy Manchester 7 hours later than planned due to a delayed departure from Denpasar, Bali so a missed connection in Dubai. The washing machine and dryer now going at fell pelt.

All settled into Island life. Done very little except relax around the pool at our little house and admire the scenes around the beach. Up tomorrow and another ferry to catch ⛴️ 😂

Bit choppy on ferry to Lembongan. Maisie and Annie taking shelter behind. We got soaked.😂All sad to leave the Gili Islands. Annie says she's heartbroken.

Private boat trip this afternoon for 4 hours snorkling around Gili Meno and Gili Air. Amazing experience. Last day here, such amazing islands. On ferry tomorrow to Nusa Lembongan for a few days.

Few from today and of the Gili Air Bungalows we are staying at. Annie has a new friend, Max the bungalow's kitten. Went around the island on electric scooters and spent most of the time pushing them through sand and dealing with flat batteries. 😂. Lovely dinner at Papaya restaurant & beach club.

1.5 hours from Ubud to Padangbai port by road. Then 2 hours on the ferry to Gili Air Island for 3 nights. 1 of 3 Gili Islands, Gili T is very lively, Gili Meno is very quiet and Gili Air is a mixture of the 2. Rather choppy at points so good job we took the travel sickness pills and also changed the original ferry booked to a larger vessel. Its just 5km to walk around the island and no cars, just bikes and horse and cart. Very chilled, loads of cool bars/restaurants, all the locals super friendly, definitely our kind of place.
