As we look back at the renovations that took place at The Corner House in 2015 and celebrate our 10 year birthday - I always marvel at how much we packed into the kitchen without it looking cramped.

As a cook from scratch kind of girl, I regularly cook when I stay there. Not every day, as there are so many great eateries in Ventnor (and beyond). But if you do fancy rustling up a late breakfast, grabbing a light lunch or saving some pennies on dinner, we've got you covered.

The Corner House is 10 Years Old Today
Happy Birthday Little House.

The renovations took a couple of months and we started renting the property out as a holiday let in June 2015. It will be our anniversary as "Hosts" shortly soon.

Proud to be a Super Host and Proud to hold many a 5 Star Review.... also proud to say we have the same housekeeper as the very 1st changeover! 🥳

We will share a few of the renovation pictures over the next week and reminisce a bit - we use the same builders too 👷

The Corner House Ventnor is free from tomorrow for 4 nights.

It’s a glorious week and I’m super tempted to jump on a ferry and go and enjoy it myself…. However apparently my child has a busy schedule and my taxi Mum Runs do not allow for it 😂

Happy 3rd Birthday 🎈

3 years ago we set up Dais Away, the management side of our holiday home business.

It’s been a rocky year for lots of holiday homes and not everyone has made it.

We decided to consolidate and improve our business, selling one of our much loved homes, whilst investing and improving the others.

It’s worked and we are still here 🎉

We are trying to remain competitive and although we have had to increase prices - we are trying to remain competitive and always offer our regular guests a discount.

The Dais Away Team are ready for a bit of sunshine and all that the 2024 season brings.

We don’t usually do short breaks in August but we have a gap of 2 nights at The Corner House Ventnor Saturday-Monday.

The Corner House is one of those properties that's just as popular in the Autumn and Winter as it is in the summer!

Walkers, dog owners, couples and small families love the quieter times.

After a day out walking, visiting and exploring - there's nothing better than cosying up in the Corner House, enjoying a hot chocolate and a few bubbles in the bath.

September is now booked up but we have various weeks in October and November available.
